In a Lull

I've hit one of those dry spots in the blogging road where the creative juices aren't so juicy. I know it's related to stuff going on in real life and, well, when push comes to shove blogging ranks pretty low. I still read around and comment on other people's blogs but when it comes to writing on my own I've been drawing a blank. My site meter numbers are getting lower and lower. What's a blogger to do?

A few things--

My blogging friend Kate is going in for surgery tomorrow to have her thyroid removed. She's also six months pregnant. If you feel so inclined take a trip over to her blog and leave her a few well-wishes. She's a neat person.

Last week waaaaaaas notsogood. But God in his providence led me to a new blog by way of Daring Young Mom. People, reading this woman's writing was like a balm. I needed so much to hear what she had to say and her words were feelings and thoughts that I've been at a total loss for in expressing myself. It also opened a much needed line of communication between Hubs and me about this. If you have ever struggled with depression and/or anxiety to any degree or you love someone who has read HERE and HERE.

It's official, I can no longer look down and see my feet. Say hello to the ever growing Bump, complete with food stains on my shirt. Tomorrow will be 17 weeks. This is an omen that in the next 23 week I am to be larger than a great white whale. Good news? The Bump is moving which is always reassuring, and in three weeks we'll get to know if it's a boy or girl.

And, more shoes. With feet like these and teeny painted piggy toes how does one say no?

That's about it. Don't delete me from your blogroll yet. Just give me a few days to de-slump myself.

You take all the time you need. I'll still be here. Oh, love the bump. Still hoping for one of my own someday. Love the piggies too. I haven't seen little piggies like that in quite some time.

Totally deleting you. You are gone. What good are you if you're not making me laugh all day every day??? Seriously...:)

Love the toes. And the pyrex. I'll keep an eye out for you when I'm yard-saling. (primary colors, of course!)

Check out the slump I was in last week. No one probably even remembers I exist.

Hang in there! Vacation is not too far away!

By the way, I love your collections. I wish I had one of my own that had nothing to do with toys of any kind!

I just don't know where you're getting this lull from, because I always find your blog interesting and the conversation in the comments is easy to follow. Maybe I'm just easy to please, who knows. anyhoo, your pregnancy is going so fast from this end! :)

Take you off my blogroll? Not a chance. Your bump is adorable--can't wait to find out if it's a girl bump or a boy bump.

I sent you an e-mail...did you get it?
