I must take a moment to shamelessly brag . . . .
My nomination for Father of Year is below. The guy has this great ability to be a mucho great provider, a playful dad, and an all-around nice person. And no, I am not buttering him up for Christmas. When he wasn't monitoring his Fantasy Football line-ups yesterday he was playing non-stop with the kids. I even caught him snuggling with the youngest while watching Baby Mozart on TV. He totally rocks.

On another note, yesterday marked the countdown of my last 60 days as a twenty-something. I wonder if I should cancel my Daring Young Mom merchandise order as my days of being young are numbered.

PUHLEEEZE Karen! 30 is not old! It's all in your mind girl!!!
To the Sister Who Needs a Blog: that's because you've had a few years to get used to it.
What a great dad. My first thought was, "Ah, the crib's gonna collapse."
I addressed your age concerns in my post today. You are almost 3 years older than me! I'm not sure if we can carry on this correspondence any longer.
I also feared for your crib, and was thrilled to know someone else's boy has the fantasy sports habit. My only other concern is that I'm 29. How much closer to 30 can I get. You are NOT OLD! By the time I've got kids as old as yours, I'll be an old lady! :)
